To celebrate the grand opening of the new Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit, Mercedes-Benz provided 20 identical, newly launched 190 E 2.3-16 sports sedans to a grid packed with Formula 1 world champions, including Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, James Hunt, and Keke Rosberg.
